Operations for 2018 season got underway on March 26. There were no operations the week of July 1.

  • Estimated processed sediment produced - 8,164 tons
  • Estimated tonnage of material hauled to the landfull - 11,489 tons
  • Truckloads to the landfill - 483
  • Water treated and discharged to the river - 31,840,000 gallons
Work completed in 2018 (through July 7)...
  • Estimated volume of sediment dredged - 285,762 cubic yards
  • Estimated processed sediment produced - 163,018 tons
  • Estimated tonnage of material hauled to landfill - 163,457 tons
  • Truckloads to the landfill - 6,961
  • Water treated and discharged to the river - 402,070,000 gallons
Nine years of progress for the Fox River Cleanup Project (2009 through 2017)…
  • Estimated volume of sediment dredged - more than 4.88 million cubic yards
  • Estimated processed sediment produced - nearly 2.7 million tons
  • Estimated tonnage hauled to landfill - more than 2.78 million tons
  • Truckloads to landfill - nearly 117,800
  • Water treated and discharged to the river - nearly 8 billion gallons

As of early July, the project has accumulated more than 2,510,500 work hours without a lost time incident.
